Make It Your Way! Quilt Along: Lesson 8 of 12

McCall's Quilt Along: Make It Your Way! | Episode 8

Join McCall’s Quilting associate editor Sherri Bain Driver and web editor Valerie Uland as they show you how to make a stunning sampler lap quilt adapted from a design by Candace Hassen. In this episode you’ll learn how to make the Pinwheel Block. Use a half and quarter ruler and pins to make the pinwheel blocks. Sherri & Valerie demonstrate how to precisely match the “magic x” of two units. You’ll also learn several pressing tips to reduce the bulk created at the intersection of 8 fabrics meeting at the center point.
