3-D Flower Embellishments with Allie Aller, Part 2

Quilters Newsletter Workshop | Series 100 | 111, Part 2

Crazy quilter Allie Aller demonstrates how to make two 3-D flowers for embellishing quilts. She starts with a simple felt flower that looks similar to salvia. All it takes is ¼” strips of felt rolled into round shapes to make this 3-D flower. The second 3-D flower Allie demonstrates how to make is the California poppy made with fused silk, gimp cord and angelina fibers. Allie also offers suggestions for which types of threads to use when embellishing quilts with 3-D flowers. To watch more episodes of Quilters Newsletter Workshop visit QNNtv.com!
