On-Point Patchwork: More Uses for the On-Point Ruler, Part 2

Quilters Newsletter Workshop | Series 100 | 108 Part 2

Donna Lynn Thomas shows how to complete the sawtooth quilt block for the Rainbow Radiance quilt. She offers cutting instructions for the half-square triangles and squares and suggests cutting all the on-point quilt components at once and cutting all the regular quilt components at once. And she offers a helpful quilt cutting tip: when cutting squares on the diagonal, place your fingers on the corners. Donna also offers quilt pressing instructions. To watch more episodes of Quilters Newsletter Workshop visit QNNtv.com!

  1. Why would you use two rulers in the first place…I would find it

What is the point of all this…I use the traditional way and my quilts
turn out beautifully.?? and no guess work !!!!

This is seems like allot of switching back and forward and hard to
    remember which is which..

More work that needed …Of course that is just my option.

The colors of the sample block are beautiful.
