On-Point Patchwork with Donna Lynn Thomas, Full Episode

Quilters Newsletter Workshop | Series 100 | 107 Full Episode

Donna shows how the ruler makes it easy to rotary cut squares, rectangles and half-square triangle units that will measure in even ⅛” increments across the diagonal. The first step is to cut the on-point components using the On-Point Ruler. After that, cut remaining pieces using a regular ruler. Donna then shows how to assemble the blocks and includes a couple of helpful pressing tips for this quilted table runner project.

Donna Lynn Thomas finishes up the Cool Blue quilted table runner by assembling the pieces and making sure the colors are alternated. She also adds a “flange” binding using a 1”-wide strip to add a little flair. Once the project is complete, Donna shows off some of the fabulous quilts she’s made.  To watch more episodes of Quilters Newsletter Workshop visit QNNtv.com!
