How to Make Colorful Quilted Coasters with Carol Ann Waugh, Part 2

Quilters Newsletter Workshop | Series 100 | Part 2

Make colorful quilted coasters with contrasting fabrics from your stash. In this second episode, it’s time to layer and sandwich the necessary ingredients for the colorful quilted coasters. The four layers include craft fuse, fusible fleece, backing fabric and the coaster top. Once they’re all layered, free-motion quilt them as desired. Then it’s time to square them up and make the final cuts. To watch more episodes of Quilters Newsletter Workshop visit QNNtv.com!

  1. I am a “new” beginner. Many years ago when my children were little, I handmade a quilt and some little toddler jackets. My children are grown and I’ve spent 22 years working full time, with little time for creative sewing. I have 10 grandchildren now, so plenty of recipients for whom I’d love to make quilts.

This long-arm machine would be the perfect addition to my limited sewing room and would allow me the ability to graduate to larger quilts!
