Episode 3011 – The Liberty Star quilt block celebrates the end of the war. Eleanor starts with easy strip sewing, then cuts the stripes into diamonds. She takes the mystery and fear out of y-seams as the diamonds and triangles are sewn together into the star quilt block. She ends the episode with Stars All Around, an eight sided table topper using the Hope of Hartford, 1941 Nine Patch and Liberty Star blocks.
