Episode 3008 – The Propeller quilt block uses the triangular square up ruler to trim components accurately to size resulting in a perfectly sewn block. The 20 piece Airplane quilt block is challenging, however Eleanor shows how to break it down into “doable” parts. Stars for the wings and a propeller are appliquéd embellishments. These two blocks are part of the Victory Quilt and are also combined in a new “Fly Boy” quilt.
