After your lattice is in place, take your 2.5″ cornerstones and place them in the empty spots. Once the cornerstones are in place, you can start sew the quilt together with the vertical rows first from top to bottom.
After sewing the quilt together, press your seams together toward your lattice. With the fabric pieces sewn together, she talks about using the quilting machine to add the backing with batting.
Then she talks about using stencils with continuous line quilting designs for free motion machine quilting and how to use them. First, she suggests that you trace over the stencil with a pencil and practice on a piece of scrap. This will make it easier before you start stitching.
