In this video series, Eleanor Burns shows you how to make a star quilt and this 1st video she makes the blocks. She shows you how to cut the strips into the star’s points. The star quilt block is simply made up of triangles. With the triangles cut from rectangles, she sews them together with a quarter inch seam. Plus she shows you how to use the square up ruler.
