Make a Positive & Negative 9 Patch Quilt with Stripes, Part 1

In this episode, she shows how to make 2 versions of the nine patch quilt with stripes in the form of a positive and negative. She sets the blocks in diagonal rows.

The nine patches are negative and has positive strips for 1 of the quilts and the second has the complete opposite.

She shows you how to cut the strips by using the 12 and a half square. Then sews them together with some helpful tips.

After this, then watch part 2 which shows how to assemble the 9 patch quilt blocks together.
