  • Monkey Wrench Quilt was a clue to gather their tools for the journey.
  • Wagon Wheels Quilt meant to pack their provisions.
  • Bear’s Paw Quilt meant that they should follow the actual track of the bear because they knew where to go.
  • CrossRoads Quilt meant the 4th clue of finding the crossroad.
  • Log Cabin Quilt meant at the crossroad, there was a safe house or a log cabin where they could hide in.
  • ShoeFly quilt symbolized the boat captain that freed slaves.
