The Shoofly quilt is the 6th slave coded quilt that Eleanor talks about which she made using reproduction fabrics. Each block is a different fabric and is set together with a stripped lattice. To make these, Eleanor used inch squares.
Then she shows a scrap bag quilt. The block is made of diamonds which forms a 8 pointed star in the center.
