For this video, Eleanor Burns shows how to make a Puzzle block called the Rocky Mountain Puzzle quilt block. This episode and video is dedicated to the days when pioneers traveled to the west in the search for gold. The block is made of triangle fabric pieces which represents the mountains, birds, and directional movement when they traveled west. The square fabrics are also cut quickly with her layer technique and then grid sewn together.
