Jodie and Mark visit Washington Depot, Connecticut to discuss what’s on their mind lately and how different crafts can mix with quilting. Mark talks about a new hobby called crochet and he shows us a crochet hook technique. Jodie discusses embroidery and myriad stitching by using the Aurifil products, wool felt and threads.

Then Mark visits Marie Bostwick who is a New York Times best selling author for books with a hint of quilting. At her home, they discuss some of the quilts that she made which is in the process of being completed.

In the 3rd segment, Jodie sits down with Marie as she shows how to make a Independence day quilt block.

To close off this exciting episode, Jodie and Mark talk about the latest quilting books such as “Scrap Applique Playground”.
