This month Mark Lipinski’s doorknock takes him to Berlin, Connecticut which is the home of longarm quilters Wilma and Jim Cogliantry of Christian Lane Quilters, one of many couples working together making quilting a family business. Jim joined Wilma in her thriving longarm quilting business after being downsized, and they’ve never looked back. They have separate work areas as she likes a quiet working environment and he likes a background of music. Wilma does the custom quilting and Jim does the all over quilting using pantograph patterns.

Next, watch part 3 with more on couples starting a quilting business.

Having trouble viewing Quilt Out Loud, episode 311, part 2. It only loads & plays the preview. Watched part 1 w/o problems. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

Mark is such fun to watch. Christian Lane, what an adventure to watch. The video is not good, out of whack voice and picture.
