It may be dreary and cold outside, but Quilt Out Loud! found the top get crafty shop in the City of Brotherly Love to open the show. Spool, a quilt and sewing shop in Center City Philadelphia is a bright spot for the creative spirit. Surrounded by bright, modern cotton fabrics for quilting, garment and home dec sewing, Jodie and Mark play catch-up showing what they’ve been up to. Jodie visits with Pam Mahshie of Baby Lock demonstrating the amazing drawing tablet attached to their sewing machine. Just draw on the tablet and it will come right up on the screen and stitch for you. Yes, it’s that simple! See it to believe it.

    up to date can you be? I love Nancy Mahoney, I have seen
    a lot of her quilt patterns, that she makes herself, then she
    puts them together (perfectly) and embellishes them (perfectly)
    Super Woman for sure!! Oh to have all that talent!
