Liz Hawkins of Lizzie B Cre8ive is in curlers and face mask goo as she answers Mark’s door knock on a Sunday morning. She’s a prolific quilter and designer along with her partner and sister-in law, Beth Hawkins. Their latest book, Greetings from Tucsadelphia, reveals their long-distance work arrangement. Liz shows Mark a variety of her quilts including one of her first quilts made while living in France. She explains how she used linen and raw silk as a quilting fabric because there was no cotton quilt fabric available in France then.
The watch part 3 on her amazing raw edge applique quilts.
