Marianne and Mary Fons show you how to make an Amish triangle quilt and how to enlarge the patchwork quilt pattern. The half square triangle pattern is typically 3 inches in length for a quilt but can be made larger in a quilt. Since Marianne wanted a larger quilt with this design, she cut her quilt fabric into 4 inch half square triangles.
• The quilt Amish Triangles is featured in Easy Quilts Fall 2010.
