Cardinal Bird Quilt Block With Paper Piecing

Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting | 1300 Series | Episode 1306

Sewing educator Jodie Davis demonstrates fun, easy paper piecing by making a pieced cardinal quilt block found in her book, Back Yard Birds. She starts by copying the pattern out of the book. Jodie suggests using foundation paper for this step. She also uses fabric glue from Fons & Porter and washable markers. To construct the cardinal design, you have to piece each sub unit and then combine all into 1 unit.
