Learn How to Window Fusible Appliqué

Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting | 1200 Series | Episode 1213

We have an absolutely adorable quilt to share with you today—It’s called Buggy Days and it was designed by Terry Adams who used an old fashioned technique, yo-yos, to make the wheels of her buggy. We got so many wonderful entries to our baby quilts contest that we ran in the magazine and this was one of our favorites that came in.

In this episode we’ll be showing you how to window fusible appliqué so that your appliqués are not stiff, how to make yo-yos, and how to fasten yo-yos to your quilt using your sewing machine.

Buggy Days is featured in Baby Quilts Winter 2008. Have a seam ripper and the Fons & Porter Half and Quarter ruler handy for this tutorial.
