Flip Flop Quilt with Window Fusible Appliqué

Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting | 1200 Series | Episode 1202

We love to make quilts because it’s just plain fun to sew— sometimes the pattern is also lighthearted and can bring a smile to your face.

Sometimes you can dig through your stash, find the craziest fabrics you own and put them together into the flip flop quilt that’s on today’s show. In this episode we’ll show you how to do window fusible appliqué, how to do a variety of machine appliqué techniques, and how to use log cabin blocks to make a border.

Complete instruction for Flip Flops can be found in the May/June 2008 issue of Love of Quilting
