Jennifer Day combines two passions – photography and quilting – in her distinctive and artistic photograph quilts. First she has her photograph printed on Jacquard Inkjet Fabric at her local print shop and then completely covers the subject with thread painting. Free motion stitching covers the background. The quilts are heavy as they use up to 4,000 yards of thread in the stitching.
Then continue this series and watch part 2 on stitching photograph quilts.

Jennifer Day’s artistic abilities are absolutely fantastic. Her pictures look like more like photographs than stitched pictures. She is truly an artist of many talents. The work is done with a precision I’ve never had the opportunity to see before. Keep on stitching Jennifer.

Susan, there’s a tweak you can do to better match your connection with the video file that’s being delivered. Usually your computer will choose the best one, but once in a while a human is the better judge. Click on the icon at the bottom right of the video box that looks like a bullet list. Choose the left-most of the icons that comes up. You’ll have some choices which you can play with to see which works best.
