Irena Bluhm has been designing whole cloth quilts, teaching her techniques, and winning national and international prizes ever since she discovered long arm quilting in 2004. She quilts intricate designs, and then, true to her art background, colors them with magnificent results using colored pencils. She has authored 8 books and 3 workbooks so far with more in the works. Born in Poland, she and her husband live in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Wow, I can’t believe how easy Irena’s technique is. I plan on trying this. I love all aspects of making a quilt. I love the quilting the most. Never having made a whole cloth quilt I see one in my very near future.
