Sue treats us by showing some of her winning paper pieced quilts. Her most famous masterpiece, “Tribute to Tolkien” was recently awarded “Master Quilt” status by the National Quilt Association. Other awards include Best of Show 2010 by the America Quilt Society at Paducah, Masterpiece at Road to California 2010, Pfaff Master Award for Machine Artistry and Viewer’s Choice by the International Quilt Association in Houston 2009 and Best of Show and Viewer’s Choice at HMQS 2009.
