  1. Nice video—I really enjoy your series I have been quilting for 17 years, but there is always more to learn..

    One other thing about Log Cabin blocks to keep in mind is that you need to be careful with placement when sewing on the individual logs. Be sure to go clockwise OR counter clockwise on EVERY block–be consistent. Also be sure you get the right log in the right place. Very easy to get mixed up. I like to make a small “sample”—-just fabric bits glued to paper is enough—with each fabric in its right place, and use it as a guide as I build each block.
