  1. At first I was a little bored with his presentaton, but the longer I listened he reminded me of my first drawings in grade school. I wish I had them to look back on. It was a tree with hanging branches with leaves dropping from the branches
I was mostly impressed when he was on Alex Anderson t.v. show, Simply Quilts and how well he handled the needle to show how he did hand quilting. I understand that over 40,000 views wrote letters objecting that the show was being taken off the air. Of course, the decision to drop the show was made by a bunch of men who had some clout and had no idea how much of an impact that sow helped women with quilting and using their imaginations.
It’s too bad that show is/ has not been aired since then.

  3. I’m a fairly new quilter and have seen references to Patrick Lose from the start of my quilting time. I never followed up on it but just watched two episodes on Patrick’s career/life and the bug has bit me. He’s an Iowa boy and I’m an Iowa girl – a common thread besides quilting. I look forward to watching more video and will definitely be following up on this.
