Quilt Study Investigation on “Quilt Out Loud!”

Mark and Jodie travel to Pennsylvania and open the show among the quilt displays at the York County Historic Trust.

Mark shows off a baby quilt he made and then we travel back to Spring International Quilt Market for Jodie’s meet-up with well-loved designer Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts who shows Jodie a clever technique to give “extra glow” to a traditional Shooting Star block.

Mark greets us from Pennsylvania at the York County Heritage Trust for his “doorknock” with a QSI group: Quilt Study Investigation.

This group meets monthly to examine historic quilts, date them, and collect the stories of the quilts and their makers. Joan Hamme and the group show Mark this month’s fascinating “show and tell.” Mark continues his “doorknock” visit with the Quilt Study Investigation group at the York County Heritage Trust. On display is an antique quilt plus a reproduction of that quilt made with exact reproduction fabrics.

Then Jodie and Mark review Cuddle Me Quick – 11 Baby-Quilt Designs by Christine Porter and Darra Williamson.
