Quilt Out Loud! In New York City!
This week, Jodie and Mark greet us from the fabric district in New York City. Check out this amazing bronze of a tailor:
They then visit The City Quilter on 25th Street in Chelsea which is a quilting haven for the urban quilter and sewer.
Owners Cathy and Dale Izzo have devoted the front 1/3 of the shop to a gallery for art quilts.
The exhibition at the time of the taping was of Noriko Endo’s incredible confetti naturescapes. Art Quilt Gallery NYC is the first of its kind. It’s a must-see when you’re in the city!
