Four Things I Could Not Do Without

When I started quilting I had been sewing garments for 20 years and yet when I looked at the quilting directions it was like reading Dutch. I took a quilting class and all of the quilting words suddenly made sense.

Four things I could not do without when I started were:

#1-THE ANGLER 2--this helped me to make 1/4 inch seams so easy there was no mistakes.
#2- a rotary cutter
#3- a rotary cutting mat
#4- Omnigrid 24" ruler

With these basic items and a good class instructor I made a bear paw quilt with borders of flying geese and I actually understood how it all came together.
