Thread Management from Claire Miller

As a semi intermediate quilter the very best thread management tip I have come with is this: keep at least 6 bobbins filled with your neutral thread for your bobbin. In my quilting, I always use a neutral quilting thread and using a larger spool on the top and pre-wound bobbins can really make your quilting session so much easier.  Especially if you are like me and hate to rewind a bobbin when you run out of thread.

I have purchased enough bobbins that I have 6 for neutral thread and 4 for miscellaneous colors for the bobbin to include the invisible threads. It really does make your time so much more enjoyable.
