Hi my name is Diane Lorello and I live in Katy Tx. Katy is a fast growing commitity just outside of Houston. I am so fortunate to have the International Quilt Festival just minutes away every fall.

I have sewn since I was about 9 with my mother. We still share ideas and I am trying to get her into quilting even though she lives in Pa. The first queen size quilt I made was for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary in 2001.

I love to quilt and it is such a stress release for me. I like to take classes at my favorite quilt shop that is just up the street to learn new techniques and just be around other quilters.

I watch and record the sewing programs on our local PBS channel and spend a lot of time watching programs on QNN. I don't mind watching them over and over. I have a lot of books and magazines that I love to just flip through and someday I am going to more time to quilt.
