My love of machine quilting began the first moment I tried a Longarm quilting machine. I was immediately hooked and quickly found I possessed an eye for analyzing, auditioning and selecting just the right quilting designs to stitch on my customers quilt tops. I became fascinated with continuous line quilting designs and how they could enhance and often transform the quilt and add the perfect finishing touch. Cheryl and her husband Jim also own Powell Publications. They purchased the company in 2002, which expanded their listing of designers and patterns. The broad range of products all focused on quilting patterns makes their business unique. Stencils, pantographs, pattern packs, books, quilted garments and notions enables them to service all quilters from hand, sewing machine, home quilting systems to longarm quilters. With a broad range of talented designers each with their own style, they are sure have something that appeals to every quilter.
