Auction to benefit the nonprofit Alliance for American Quilts starts Monday, Nov. 12!
These 74 vivid, house-shaped quilts were made as part of the Put a Roof Over Our Head contest, to celebrate the organization's move to its new home in Asheveille, North Carolina. The quilts measure about 15 inches by 19 and 1/2 inches and will be auctioned on eBay in three batches, with a starting bid of $50. The first group of 24 quilts will be available for bidding for one week, starting November 12. The next batch goes up November 19 for one week, and the last group will be up for auction starting November 26.
