Co-founded in 1998 by the mother-daughter team of Fran Hansen and Anna Nelson, their story has received national coverage from Oprah, MSNBC, Redbook, Martha Stewart Weddings, Newsweek, and Shape magazine, to name a few. In 2005 they were named “Trendsetters of the Year” by Modern Bride magazine and were honored as “Women Who Make A Difference” in Family Circle. Since its inception, the organization has granted hundreds of wishes and their commitment is to continue fulfilling as many wishes as possible until a cure is found.
